A Morning Walk - When AI Agents Touch Money
Agents are starting to touch money. Stripe shipped wallets for agents & single-use cards scoped to individual agents.
Robinhood shipped an MCP server that can read portfolios & place orders.
Public opened its brokerage to agents.
The rails are arriving fast. But the people building with them are still figuring out the real questions:
What should an agent be allowed to do?
When should a human approve?
How do you make it safe without making it useless?
What breaks when an agent touches a brokerage account, bank account, card, or wallet?
That's what this walk is about.
We're bringing together founders, engineers, product builders, traders, fintech operators, & anyone curious about how AI agents will interact with money in the real world.
We'll meet for coffee at Il Parco in the Presidio at 10, walk the trails & the water afterward, & wrap by 11:30. No talks. No slides. No panel. Just a small group of people comparing notes, sharing what they're seeing, & asking better questions together.
We're building Zap, a layer that connects your broker account to your agent. We've run into many of these problems ourselves & want to learn from others building, investing, operating, or simply thinking deeply about this space.
Come if you've connected an agent to a brokerage, bank, card, wallet, or payment flow.
Come if you're building agent infrastructure, fintech tools, trading products, or AI workflows.
Come if you're just curious where this is going & want to be in the room while the playbook is still being written.
