The premiere is divided into four screening sessions, each focused on a different emotional contrast: Joy & Sorrow, Intensity & Serenity, Love & Hate, & Desire & Disgust. The Joy & Sorrow Screening Session explores cinema's ability to awaken happiness, hope, grief, & emotional release. These short films examine the moments that give life meaning, as well as the losses & hardships that reveal our vulnerability.

From uplifting stories & playful discoveries to deeply moving reflections on separation, memory, & mortality, the session asks how filmmakers create authentic emotional responses & whether audiences experience those emotions differently when a story is created by a human or generated with AI.
