Explore the evolution of this unique historical landmark from its dynamic origins as a military post and the San Francisco Port of Embarkation for troops shipping out during World War II to its current role as a vibrant contemporary cultural venue.
Discover colorful Gas House Cove, spectacular views of San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge, and stunning Mission Revival-style architecture. View the Lobos Square and park area and learn more about how this space became a refuge for survivors of the 1906 earthquake and fire.
